Some big-name high street retailers are currently advertising for new staff at Nottingham’s Victoria Centre. Next and WHSmith are among those now recruiting.
The job will require the successful applicant to provide “fast and friendly service at all times, helping our customers to find the perfect products”. Next said the role would be well suited to someone who is “friendly, calm and efficient”, and who is also a “great communicator”.Employee benefits include exclusive discounts on Next products and early access to sale stock, plus deals and offers from more than 3,500 other retailers. Applications for the position must be submitted by March 7.
Extensive previous retail experience is not a requirement for the job, WHSmith said. The successful candidate will “need to be a great listener, good to talk to and naturally helpful”, providing customers with assistance and helping to ensure that their needs are met.
