US President Joe Biden has been roasted online after mistakenly thanking the “prime minister of Colombia” instead of Cambodia for hosting the ASEAN summit on Saturday, local time.
The misspeak marks the second time this week President Biden has mistakenly referred to the south-east Asian country as Colombia. On Thursday, as he departed for the summit, Mr Biden told reporters that he was “heading over to Colombia,” before correcting himself.
