Joe Rodon has revealed his thinking behind joining Leeds United on loan with the opportunity to work with Daniel Farke and Wales team-mates Ethan Ampadu and Daniel James
Joe Rodon believes the style of play Daniel Farke has introduced at Leeds United made his decision to join on loan a 'no brainer'. The Wales international will spend the season at Elland Road, and made his debut from the bench in the defeat at Birmingham City earlier this month.
He told The Official Leeds United Podcast: "I think DJ was excited, he was really excited when the news came out. DJ being here for quite a few seasons, just having a chat with him and of course very high regard and respect for everything [with] the club. When it came to me and with Ethan also signing here this summer, it was kind of a no-brainer for me.
Rodon will be looking to get his career back on track this term, having struggled to make an impact last season on loan with Stade Rennais. The former Swansea City prospect is confident Farke's focus on possession matches his own playing style, and make him certain he has made the 'perfect decision'.
