MSNBC host Joe Scarborough shared his analysis of Hunter Biden's former business partner testifying before Congress, saying Republicans"have nothing" on the president's son and should leave his legal issues up to the courts to sort out.
Scarborough referred to earlier analysis from fellow MSNBC contributor Alexi McCammond, who claimed the takeaway from the hearing with Devon Archer was that the House Oversight Committee has"nothing" on the president's son."Again, let me say it again, this is our — this is our daily reminder to anybody watching: If Hunter Biden is guilty of anything, arrest him, charge him, let a jury convict him. If, que sera, sera.
Archer testified that President Joe Biden attended dinners with Archer, his son, and other executives of Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company that both the younger Biden and Archer had dealings with. Some Republican members of Congress have begun teasing further impeachment inquiries into the president as a result of that revelation.
"And again, they keep trying to find something, anything to distract from the fact that Donald Trump has been charged with stealing nuclear secrets, charged with stealing military plans, charged with trying to overthrow an American presidential election, and they keep sort of rummaging around for Hunter Biden and Biden crime family conspiracy theories," Scarborough said.
It is speculated that Trump could be charged by a Georgia grand jury over alleged interference in the 2020 election in the state. Then-President Trump urged Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” the votes that would ensure his victory over Biden in the state.
