Australian music icon John Farnham is in a stable condition in intensive care after undergoing an emergency 12-hour operation to remove a malignant tumour after being diagnosed with cancer.
According to source, the Aria Hall of Fame Inductee's wife Jill and his two sons Robert and James are by his side at the hospital.
“Cancer diagnosis is something that so many people face every single day, and countless others have walked this path before me,” the hitmaker said. He is the only Australian artist to have a number one record Down Under over five consecutive decades and was named Australian of the Year in 1987.
