Depp testified in court on Tuesday in his defamation lawsuit against Heard over an opinion piece she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018 where she referred to herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse". In court on Tuesday, the Pirates of the Caribbean star said he was never violent towards his former wife.
Depp alluded to the fall in his career after the accusations, including to being booted off the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise."It's very strange when, one day you're Cinderella, so to speak, and then, in 0.6 seconds, you're Quasimodo."
