Entertainment lawyer said Heard's industry expert's assessment on damages is built on nothing

Arnold, an entertainment industry expert testified she found that Heard's op-ed had no impact on Depp's career, but instead had cost Heard up to $50m in earnings. Depp's lawyer Jessica Meyers then asked if Depp could have hit someone even with a hard, plaster cast on. Meyers asked: Did you ever notice any damage to Mr. Depp's cast when you treated him after the surgery?Kulber also said Depp could not have formed a fist while his hand was in the cast. 'As a company, we go through a lot of trouble when we make our deals with actors,' he said. 'We get the options for subsequent movies and I think prior to me joining the company, every option was renegotiated. And on of the things we're putting a reign on was not renegotiating every deal.'
She had already ruled Depp could be held responsible for statements made by his lawyer, a principle Depp's team disputes. 'The counterclaim statements are 100 percent false, there was no hoax perpetrated. Mr. Depp is an abuser who abused Ms. Heard,' he said. Heard claimed that Depp beat her on that day inside his Los Angeles penthouse, hitting her with a phone, punching her face and pulling her hair.
