Ireland suffered an agonising 28-24 defeat to New Zealand on Saturday night at the Rugby World Cup
As Johnny Sexton struggled to come to terms with his final game for Ireland, his son managed to sum things up perfectly in Paris on Saturday night.
Much of the post-match reflection focused on Sexton, however, who failed to muster a fairy tale ending to his own stellar career. Speaking after the game, Sexton said: "I'm very proud of the boys and the nation and the country and we couldn't do anymore really. We got over the line there towards the end and it's just fine margins.
