The 35-year-old linked up with former club Manchester United in the summer
The Northern Ireland defender, who initially left United in 2015, was taken on the tour of the US by Erik ten Hag after training at Carrington following his release from Leicester this summer.
Northern Ireland captain Steven Davis recently said Evans would be a positive addition to United's squad this season.
