It’s a story of the rookie and the vet. Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox, who is 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, isn’t usually made to look average sized but rookiemay have just done it. The former Georgia Bulldog is settling in nicely out at Eagles training camp and Cox himself had glowing reviews for the young player this weekend.
When Cox refers to Davis being able to move, it’s just further confirmation of what teams were able to see at the NFL Scouting Combine this year. Davis ran a 4.78 40-yard dash at nearly 340 pounds. All reports out of Eagles camp are that he’s maintained that weight and hit all his body requirements coming in – which bodes well for a young player.“I ain’t never seen a guy like that,” said Eagles linebacker Kyzir White. “I’m glad he’s on our side. He’s going to make things easier for us.
