EXCLUSIVE: Simon Jordan takes parting shot at Antonio Conte with Elmer Fudd jibe THFC
Conte was under increasing pressure at the club, with his outburst after their 3-3 draw against Southampton making his position untenable.
When asked on White and Jordan if he would have kept ‘part of the problem’ in Stellini and Mason at the club, he replied: “In most instances I would argue emphatically toward that point.“But I’m not sure that Stellini was cut, albeit it from the Conte cloth in terms of brought him in. I think Stellini perhaps did a slightly better job with the players than Conte, although saying that he was in situ when they lost to Sheffield United.
“I honestly, this sounds very flippant, I think you could have put Elmer Fudd in the dugout for the last 10 games and they’d do better than this current version of Conte.
