A huge call from Jurgen Klopp...
Salah left out of the starting XI in east London Jurgen Klopp highlighted the need for his players to ‘take their chances’ after dropping Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez from his Liverpool starting XI taking on West Ham this afternoon. Salah has scored just two goals in his last seven Premier League appearances, failing to trouble local rivals Everton in Wednesday’s Merseyside derby defeat.
They join Luis Diaz in attack with the Colombian keeping his place in the side. Nunez was also named among the subs Jarrell Quansah meanwhile comes into the side in place of Ibrahima Konate following his tough night at the office up against Dominic Calvert-Lewin on Wednesday. Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo also come into the side with Stefan Bajcetic among the substitute.
