Members of the Sikh community have travelled to a showground on NSW's South Coast to provide emergency supplies to those affected by the bushfires.

More than two dozen volunteers from Sydney's Sikh community have travelled to the NSW South Coast to help those affected by the bushfires.

The fleet made its first stop at the Milton Showground where they began working to ensure all people in the town had access to the supplies. Locals also got involved. "I'm homeless but I'm going to put my hand up for a few days and pay it back in a good way ... There's a lot of people out there who are struggling and I think I'm pretty well off and there are people in a worse situation than me."
