A South Australian resident has just days left to claim their $1 million lottery prize. The division one winning entry was purchased by an unregistered player at BP Mawson Lakes on the Salisbury Hwy in Adelaide ’s north for draw 4325 on September 27, 2023. But under SA law, lotto winnings must be collected within one year of the draw, and that deadline is looming fast. If not claimed by Friday, the prize will be forfeited to the Lotteries Commission of South Australia.
“It’s hard to believe, but our mystery winner may have been completely unaware they’ve been sitting on $1,000,000 for nearly a year,” she said. “If you purchased a Monday & Wednesday X Lotto ticket at BP Mawson Lakes, now is the time to check it. “You don’t want to miss out on such a life-changing opportunity. “This also serves as an important reminder to register your tickets. If this ticket had been registered, we would have already united the winner with their $1 million prize.
