The way in which Kate Middleton handled the announcement of her cancer diagnosis has drawn comparisons to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The Princess of Wales has drawn comparisons to Queen Elizabeth II for the manner in which she announced her shock cancer diagnosis on camera.
Kate revealed she had explained her health to children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, and called for time and space as a family while she completes her treatment. "When she ended with 'You are not alone,' it sounded like something Queen Elizabeth would have said. It was very similar to what Queen Elizabeth said during Covid when she said, 'We are all in this together'”, Royal author Sally Bedell Smith told the Mirror. “It was a way of comforting people about her condition and giving them courage. There was no sign of feeling sorry for herself. She showed honesty. She got the balance right.
