Justin Bieber trends with BieberIsBackTODAY as singer teases new music, tour in 2020
Back in October, Bieber promised to release a new album before Christmas if his Instagram post received 20 million likes. The post was later deleted.
The forthcoming album will be Bieber's first full-length solo musical endeavor in five years—since the release oftour in 2017. Earlier this year he opened up about his struggles with depression and drug use in interviews as well as in a heartfelt message to fans on Instagram. "It's hard to get out of bed in the morning with the right attitude when you are overwhelmed with your life your past, job, responsibilities, emotions, your family, finances, your relationships," Bieber began a September post.
"I found myself doing things that I was so ashamed of, being super-promiscuous and stuff, and I think I used Xanax because I was so ashamed... Drugs put a screen between me and what I was doing. It got pretty dark," he toldIn addition to his confessions, 2019 was also the year Bieber recorded collaborations with artists including Ed Sheeran and Billie Eilish—and made a triumphant live appearance during Ariana Grande's set at the Coachella Music Festival.
