A juvenile called the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday to report they had shot a man who had been reportedly harassing dogs on a property.

At about 3:14 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a call from a juvenile in the 7200 block of Spirit Lake Highway in Toutle. The juvenile told the Sheriff’s Office they had shot a man after the man had come onto the property and started to behave erratically.The juvenile also said they were threatened by the man.

When deputies arrived, with officers from the Castle Rock Police Department, they found the man, dead.
