Paramedics raced to the scene to assist alpaca breeder Peter Eades but were forced to call police when the animal stopped them from helping the 77-year-old.A man has died after a kangaroo attacked him in southern Western Australia.
"The attending officers were required to euthanise the kangaroo by firearm," a WA Police spokesperson said. Emergency services were called to the Redmond property near Albany at about 5pm on Sunday after a family member found the man with serious injuries."His life has revolved around them for as long as I've known him," Australian Alpaca Association president Brett Fallon said.Locals said the man raised the kangaroo that turned on him yesterday."It's definitely a shock.
