Kangaroos spots up for grabs in Origin decider: Fittler | proshenks
Brad Fittler has raised the stakes for the State of Origin decider, declaring the game will be crucial in deciding World Cup spots for an Australian side in which only James Tedesco and Cameron Munster can consider themselves certain selections.
“That’s what puts even more on the line, there are some spots up for grabs. That’s across the board, there wouldn’t be too many there that have got guarantees at the moment. Cam Munster may be one of them, Teddy [Tedesco] may be another. Other than that, everyone is fighting. That’s the dialogue, that’s the talk. That should be the talk.”
“At the end of the day we got penalised eight times,” Fittler said. “The penalties were 8-5 [against us] and I don’t know if we got advantage out of that.
