Kansas City Chiefs' Pro Bowl receiver Tyreek Hill under investigation for alleged battery incident. Team is aware and in the 'process of gathering information.'
Officials from the Kansas City Chiefs organization said Friday that wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation for an alleged battery.“The club is aware of the investigation involving Tyreek Hill,” the Chiefs stated. “We’re in the process of gathering information and have been in contact with the league and local authorities. We’ll have no further comment at this time.”
A source told The Star the battery was against their son. Hill has not been charged with any crimes, but remains under investigation. Hill, 25, was a fifth-round pick by the Chiefs in 2016. He has 223 receptions and 3,255 yards with 25 touchdown catches through his first three seasons. He led the Chiefs in receiving with 1,479 yards in the 2018 season, which was fourth overall in the NFL. His 13 receiving touchdowns was second in the league only to Antonio Brown’s 15 TDs with Pittsburgh.
