Kanye West has spoken out after refusing to apologise for presenting items of his ‘Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga’ clothing collection in “trash bags”. 7NEWS
Despite the construction bags, West’s line has sold out across America and has had mass attention, particularly after online users took offence.“Why are the rich obsessed with looking poor? They love to play pretend,” one tweeted.
“Balenciaga & Kanye’s fetish with the homeless as ‘fashion muses’ - it’s everything that is wrong with billionaires…they no longer see the plight of people, they don’t see humans that are suffering, they see opportunities to be ‘edgy’ and profit from it…it’s disgusting,” said another. “The way Kanye and Balenciaga think these type of setups and lifestyles are something people choose is beyond crazy. Like bro if given the option nobody would buy clothes at a swap meet, they do it bc they have to,” added a third.
“So not only does he want ppl to look homeless in his clothing but now he wants ppl to rummage through trash bags like some thrift shop,” said another. If you’d like to view this content, please adjust your
