Karl Stefanovic’s on-the-cheap home reno
The couple recently listed their lavishly renovated Sunshine Coast home but it has yet to sell with Stefanovic reputedly experiencing “sellers’ remorse” while going through the auction campaign.
There’s even been a report in The Australian’s media diary column that with borders now fully open, “Stefanovic has privately confided to friends and Nine types that he wants to spend two weekends a month at the property”.The home is just a minute’s walk from the golden sands of the Sunshine Beach was listed with hopes of a $7.5m sale.
Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine bought Villa Isabelle for $3.6m in January 2020 and settled just before the Covid pandemic hit.But after spending just five weeks in the multi-level home that boasts five bedrooms and five bathrooms over the last two years, they decided to put it on the market in March.Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Stefanovic relaxing on their recent holidays. However the home struggled to reach its price expectations and two weeks ago there was no sale when the property went to its midweek auction, attended only by registered local and interstate bidders.
