Kate Garraway has raised concerns after she was replaced on Good Morning Britain and left her radio show just 30 minutes in this week.
Before Kate left, fans shared their worries about her voice on X, which used to be called Twitter. One fan suggested: "Take peppermint and chamomile, it helps. Also, take lots of water preferably lemon water. Sorry. You'll be okay." Kate was also missing from presenting Good Morning Britain the following morning, with Ranvir Singh stepping in to host with Richard Madeley. One worried fan tweeted: "Missing @kategarraway on @gmb Hope ur feeling better soon xx," and some viewers even stopped watching.
Kate has been reportedly throwing herself into work and has often been seen on TV and heard on radio in recent months, after her husband Derek Draper passed away in January. He was 56 and had a heart attack on January 3 after a three-year battle with Covid-19.When Kate came back to Smooth FM after his death, she said: "Hello everyone, I am so glad to be back at Smooth. It's just been brilliant to hear the great music again and to see everybody.
