The Duke of Duchess of Cambridge often host guests on official visits at their Kensington Palace home and a recent meeting showed some big changes they made to their abode
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their three children are set to swap London for Berkshire later this year. But, while the royals are in the capital, they call Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace home.
Apartment 1A boasts 20 rooms altogether and is spread across enormous floors, which are filled with stylish decor and furnishings. It's the largest property at Kensington Palace, featuring five reception rooms, three main bedrooms, three main bathrooms, dressing rooms and a night and day nursery. To mark the visit, the Palace released a photo and revealed that the royal couple have made some subtle but significant changes to their reception room since members of the public last saw it.
They showed off their gorgeous cream sofas and lamps during a photo session while giving a glimpse of their armchairs and an octagonal ottoman in the centre of the room that was finished in a cream fabric with gold detailing.
