Kate Middleton has marked St Patrick’s Day with a video message to royal fans shared online, as she skipped the annual parade for the first time in seven years.

Princess Catherine instead marked the day by extending her well wishes to fans through her official social media she shares with Prince William. In her speech at the parade last year, Kate said: “I really couldn’t be prouder to stand in front of you here today. It really is a true honour to be your Colonel."
