Kate Middleton's 'nerves over mum-guilt podcast as everything she says is dissected' affiliate
Giovanna Fletcher has opened up about her experience of interviewing Kate Middleton for her podcast, admitting that she and the new Princess of Wales were both incredibly nervous.
"I have to say, we both went into that podcast very nervous. Knowing whatever you say is going to be taken and dissected must be really difficult. It must be hard to navigate how much to share and whether the person you’re talking to can be trusted. I felt honoured to be given that chance," Giovanna told us.
In the special podcast episode, Kate and Giovanna were able to chat openly and honestly about the importance of the early years in motherhood, and the struggles this might entail for many mums. "To alleviate that guilt, those pressures, is really important because motherhood, although it is the most amazing thing, the reality is it can feel very alone. We need to be sharing our experiences to realise some feelings are normal."
