The mother-daughter duo matched in soft pink
and the upcoming 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty' exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. In a nod to the iconic fashion designer, they wore co-ordinating couture looks by Fendi, where Lagerfeld worked as creative director for more than 50 years.
While their dresses were contrasting in style, both women chose soft pink styles for the annual fashion event. Kate, as always, looked effortlessly elegant in a bespoke slip dress with sheer, floor-length sleeves designed by by Fendi's current artistic director, Kim Jones.
