Catherine, the Princess of Wales, has released her first public photograph since announcing her cancer diagnosis to mark her youngest child's birthday.
The mother-of-three shared a sweet portrait of Prince Louis in celebration of his sixth birthday on Tuesday, local time, accompanied by a short message to royal fans. At the end of the caption were the words"The Princess of Wales" with an emoji of a camera to indicate photo credit.
In the portrait, Prince Louis can be seen lying on a white and cream blanket on a lawn, propped up by his arms. Multiple overseas publications have reported the image, understood to be unedited, was captured at Windsor in the last couple of days.Major photo agencies, including Reuters and Associated Press, pulled the image from publication after noticing several"inconsistencies"., saying"like many amateur photographers" she does"occasionally experiment with editing".
