Global superstar Katy Perry has divided fans with her performance ahead of the Sydney-Brisbane AFL grand final at the MCG. Playing in front of 100,000 fans on a glorious Melbourne day, Perry played her iconic hits, as well as a couple of new songs. Catch all the exclusive grand final day action and the big game live, free, and in HD starting from 7am, on Seven and 7plus.
She opened with her global hit Roar before launching into Dark Horse and then Gorgeous from her new album 143. More CGI followed as Perry rolled through big hits California Gurls and Teenage Dream before Tina Arena came on stage as the pair sang I Kissed A Girl together. Perry then sung another new song Lifetimes before closing with her iconic hit Firework. While the crowd appeared to enjoy the performance, fans watching on TV were divided. “Worst. Pregame. Ever,” one said.
