The Treasurer’s campaign is asking voters to re-elect their local member and “Keep Australia secure”

faces renewed criticism over his attacks on the state Labor government’s management of the COVID-19 pandemic., the Kooyong MP has launched new “Keep Josh” billboards around the inner eastern Melbourne electorate this week.The new signs, which include the slogan “Keep Australia secure”, come after months of efforts to outspend Dr Ryan, who is supported by the Climate 200 campaign and a growing army of on-the-ground volunteers.

They nominate Mr Frydenberg’s attacks on Mr Andrews as a key factor. He holds the seat with a 5.7 per cent margin, after beating Greens challenger Julian Burnside and independent Oliver Yates at the 2019 poll. “I would do what the voters of Kooyong have asked me to do, which is to support the major party which will take effective action on climate change in the next decade and will give this country what it needs, which is an ICAC basically, greater action in the government sphere to promote integrity and transparency,” she said.

Mr Frydenberg met members of the Camberwell Business Club and Camberwell Traders Association on Monday.Advertisement
