The UK Labour leader said he was refusing to commit to 'unfunded promises' like Tory Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Keir Starmer has said that Labour won't scrap the two-child benefit cap or raise tax in its general election manifesto.
Scottish Labour wants to abolish the cap while senior Labour figures have previously called it "heinous". “It will not be unveiled tomorrow. There are no surprises in our manifesto, because our manifesto is a manifesto for growth.”When asked about support for former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, Starmer said: “I was certain that we would lose the 2019 election.”
