Kendal Calling at Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District returns this weekend - here's everything you need to know
We're just days away from the start of Kendal Calling , the hit British music festival set against the backdrop of the beautiful British Lake District . Held at Lowther Deer Park, near Penrith, Cumbria , the popular event will take place from Thursday, August 1 until Sunday, August 4.
Artists heading to Kendal Calling this weekend include Lucy Spraggan, Charlotte Plank, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, A Certain Ratio, Sugababes, The Snuts, Feeder, Bilk, ADMT, Alfie Jukes, Future Utopia, HotWax and more. Find the stage splits for the main stages on Friday, Saturday and Sunday below. How do I get there? Kendal Calling takes place at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe , Cumbria, CA10 2HT - and is actually closer to Penrith than it is to Kendal. It's located 25 minutes north of Kendal up the M6 and south down the A6 from Penrith. Emperors Field, Great Plains, Deer Lodge and Tangerine Fields all have their own respective car parks adjacent to their camping fields which require specific parking passes. You will not be able to access these car parks with a General Car Park ticket.
