Country star Kenny Chesney will hit the road for a tour this summer, and will stop at Blossom Music Center for a show on June 9.
CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio -- Carly Pearce will open., with some presales occurring earlier in the week.
This year, Chesney plans to perform a mix of amphitheater and stadium shows. The Blossom Music Center stop stands apart from the country musician’s larger scale shows at some of the country’s biggest fields and stadiums. “There is something about amphitheaters that creates an immediacy that is so intimate,” Chesney said in a press release. “The energy is very different from a stadium show, and it almost opens the songs up in completely different ways. It’s pretty cool to feel that difference between the two kinds of venues, but I can tell you: both are absolutely the greatest sensations in the world.”
The tour marks Chesney’s first major return to live music since the pandemic began. He’s also got new music to showcase: his 19th studio album “Here and Now,” released in May 2020.“I never thought we’d be away from No Shoes Nation for three years,” he continues.
