Kevin De Bruyne has compared Inter Milan’s tactics to ‘lower’ Premier League teams ahead of Saturday's Champions League final.was speaking in response to a question about formations, with City occasionally struggling against a three or five-man defence.His comments might not go down well with Inter boss Simone Inzaghi- as huge favourites having gone on a 25-game unbeaten run, winning the Premier League and the FA Cup.
That run was ended in their final league game by Brentford’s five-man defence, and their previous defeat before that was to Tottenham’s three-man defence in February. Speaking in the pre-match press conference, De Bruyne was asked about Inter's tactics and the difficulties of playing such a formation.
To which he said: "To be honest I think in the last five-six years that I've played in the Premier League, a lot of the lower teams are playing with a five.
