Australia’s Ambassador to the United States, Kevin Rudd, has claimed he is “ready to work” with US President-elect Donald Trump following a series of controversies surrounding his past criticisms.

“It strengthens all three countries’ ability to deter threats, and it grows the defence industrial base and creates jobs in all three countries,” Mr Rudd said.
