A number of Daniel Andrews’ most senior cabinet ministers are set to call time on their political careers, as former COVID-19 Commander Jeroen Weimar lands a big new role.
Mr Andrews is widely expected to hold a press conference on Friday where he will reveal Deputy Premier James Merlino, Health Minister Martin Foley, Sport and Tourism Minister Martin Pakula and Police Minister Lisa Neville will be resigning.

“The Premier Daniel Andrews’ office has told me there have been rumours about the retirement of everyone from the caucus secretary all the way through to the premier this week, so they say they are not responding to each rumour,” Mr Clennell said on Thursday.Four health ministers in four years.
