The Keystone International Livestock Expo is back for its 66th year with more animals and fun!
One thousand competitors from 27 states are showcasing their farm animals and how well they are kept back at the farm.The purpose of the annual event at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex is to showcase youth leadership skills, animal care and breeding.Teen hand-raised foalElla, a horse from Utopia Percherons in Goshen, Connecticut, is participating in the show this year with her owner, teenager Kayleigh Lynch.
'We hand raised her, me and my family, so he was bottle-raised, bucket-raised, all that. We do show her now at various shows across the country,' she said.Now, the two compete in many competitions across the country and have won quite a few titles.What to do at the livestock expoAnimals like cattle, sheep, horses of all kinds, and alpacas will be at the show, competing in a variety of competitions.
