KFC Australia has announced a major change to its iconic menu items. The fast food restaurant has given its popular Original burger series a “crispy” makeover — and they are a permanent addition to menus across the nation from Tuesday. Fans can expect to bite into a crispier chicken burger as the fillets are double breaded and fried.
The pop-up store in Darlinghurst will offer a range of off-menu items with a KFC twist — including fluffy cheesecake, green chips aka broccolini and asparagus, peanut butter and jam sandwich and more. “To mark the launch of our new series, it was only appropriate to create an emporium of all things crispy,” Tami Cunningham, chief marketing officer of KFC Australia, said. “‘The Original Crispery’ promises to be an avalanche on the senses.
