Kierra-Lea Jensen has been identified as the woman stabbed to death at a home in Ipswich, as her partner faced court charged with her alleged murder. Jensen, 28, was found dead with multiple stab wounds at the home on Flinders Dr, Leichhardt about 9.15am on Monday after a relative had asked police to check on her. Kitchel Shillingsworth, 36, was later arrested after a car chase which ended when police used road spikes.
Detective Acting Superintendent Garry Watts on Monday said Jensen and Shillingsworth had been in a de facto relationship and police had been called to the home last week. “I can tell you police had attended that address in the last week,” Watts said at the time. “However, no offences were detected ... an investigation was conducted but there was no action taken and there are no domestic and family violence orders between the 36-year-old man and 28-year-old woman.
