The AJ Cosmetics team is 'still on cloud nine' after winning the award earlier this month.
AJ Cosmetics was named Best Beauty Salon in Scotland at The Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards on Sunday, October 1.The awards night took place in Glasgow, at The Hilton, where businesses and individuals across a wide range of hair, beauty, aesthetics, barbering and make-up artistry were celebrated.“It was an amazing night. Our team is like a family and a group of best friends so we always have a great time together. We also loved getting to network with other Scottish beauty professionals.
In 2018, she decided to take a further step and open up AJ Cosmetics on Titchfield Street with a team of passionate beauty professionals. However, after 5 years the clientele grew and the AJ Cosmetics team was ready to expand and move to a new space at 28-30 Grange Street. Aimee said: “Over three months we worked night and day to renovate and create our current dream salon space. We expanded our team and introduced new treatments to cater to the evolving needs of our valued clientele.
“I worked so hard to create the current space we have now, managing to complete the renovations in three months whist still working full time in the original salon. All the late nights and early starts were all made worth it by winning this award!”
