Workers from Coast Care and Support raised cash to fund a vein finding machine

Kind staff from a West Lothian care provider raised over £6000 for a charity that helps make treatment a little easier for hospital patients.

Matthew Hay, Co-Founder at Coast Care & Support said: “Coast Care and Support were delighted to raise funds for The Cookie Jar Foundation for the purchase of a vein finding machine. The Cookie Jar Foundation was set up in memory of Christopher ‘Cookie’ Coutts who passed away at the age of 19 after a two-year battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2013.

This has become Christopher’s legacy and his family have placed 26 of these devices into wards throughout Edinburgh, the Lothians & Fife.
