The King said he would be 'most content' with the changes 'to ensure continued efficiency of public business when I'm unavailable'
Harry and Andrew have both stepped down as working royals and critics have voiced concern at the prospect of them being called upon to perform royal duties – while ninth-in-line to the throne Princess Beatrice has never been a working royal.
But in a letter to members of the Lords on Monday, the monarch said he would be “most content” if the law was changed to allow the list to include his brother Prince Edward and sister Princess Anne.
