The relationship between King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla has been an “ideal love story” since the pair first met, according to royal commentator and biographer Angela Levin.

She said Queen Consort Camilla has a knack for causing King Charles to laugh and make him feel relaxed.

“When she was first on the scene but known to be the scene, when there were meetings, he would want her to be close to him,” Ms Levin told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “At first his aides didn’t like it but then they realised that when she was there, he was much more amenable.
