Exclusive: KingonScreen director Daphné Baiwir teases ideas for a sequel and a book to her Stephen King documentary:
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Having chronicled a good chunk of works already, director Daphné Baiwir teases her plans for a King on Screen 2 and book companion to her documentary.
At the beginning, we had directors — for example, if we had John Carpenter, we would have talked about Christine a little bit longer. You are a little bit restrained in some way, because you are not going to talk about it for 10 minutes if the director's not there to talk about the film. So, we talked a little bit about that with the directors, but it's conversational.
But perhaps we could do a sequel. Each interview was almost two hours long. The shorter ones were like an hour. But we thought that we should make a book with the full-length interviews, so that way people could have the book as a complement to the documentary, and see all the questions we were able to ask, and all the great answers from the directors.
