Principal Michael Curl said campus staff spoke personally to panicked parents who picked up students from the dance.
Over the weekend, school administrators and police were actively investigating, and Curl promised those involved would face consequences. “This morning a student was arrested and taken into police custody on a charge of Disrupting a Gathering or Meeting. The student also faces school discipline according to the Humble ISD Student Code of Conduct,” he said.
“Half of the students were in the gym while the other half were in the cafeteria at the time,” he said.
