December 06, 2022 - 16:07 GMT Francesca Shillcock Following the sad news of Kirstie Alley's death, many big names in the film and TV industry, particularly her former colleagues and co-stars have been paying tribute to her.The actress's death was announced on Sunday in a statement from her children that read:"We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce, and loving mother has passed away after a short battle with cancer, only recently discovered.
Fellow Cheers actor and lead star of its spin-off Frasier, Kelsey Grammer, released a short message in honour of his former co-star. He told PA:"I always believed grief for a public figure is a private matter, but I will say I loved her."
