The new year is already shaping up to be a good one! Kit Kat is reportedly launching a Birthday Cake-flavored bar, and it’s expected to be available in 2020.
Thanks to Instagram account @junkfoodleaks_’s post on Nov. 14, we get to see a picture of what appears to be the unofficial wrapper, as well as the bar itself. The limited-edition flavor has “crisp wafers in birthday cake flavored white creme with sprinkles,” according to the packaging. It basically looks like a confetti cake in chocolate bar form.
“The Kit Kats themselves are a bit harder, as milk chocolate and confection are different, but moving past that, you’re delighted to impeccable crunch, and flashbacks to eating spoonfuls of Funfetti cake frosting right out of the jar,” the caption says. “The Funfetti pearls, the crunch, everything about this is an absolute slam dunk. For some, it might appear to be a bit too sweet — which I get.
Kit Kat hasn’t let us down before with its other fun flavors, like Mint and Dark Chocolate Duos, Sweet Cinnamon, and Pumpkin Pie, so we have no doubt that the Birthday Cake variety will have us going back for a second bar.
