The retail giant has issued another recall notice of a popular furniture item found in living rooms across the country.
The retail giant warned customers that the metal chairs, which were available to purchase from July 2014 to March 2016, had been recalled due to an "entrapment or laceration hazard".
Several incidents involving the chairs have occurred since the first recall, prompting Kmart to reissue the notice.Kmart Australia has issued another recall notice of their metal chairs. "The tapering of the inside bottom of the chair legs may lead to an entrapment or laceration hazard," Kmart Australia said on social media.
"Kmart can supply a free plug insert kit to customers and these plugs will need to be inserted into the legs of the chairs. Once the plugs have been inserted, customers can continue using the chairs." Customers are encouraged to return the chairs for a full refund or request plugs to insert into the legs of the chairs.
