BREAKING: A KMART store in Melbourne’s north has shut after a worker tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
“Our priority is to ensure the safety of our customers and team members,” a note on the store reads.A Kmart store in Brunswick has been closed over a coronavirus case.“At Kmart, the health and safety of our team and customers is our highest priority,” the statement read.
“We are working closely with the Department of Health and will continue to keep our team and customers informed.”Victoria’s Health Minister Jenny Mikakos yesterday confirmed the 3064, 3047, 3031 and 3060 postcodes had recorded the most cases since the government’s suburban testing blitz started last week.
Alarmingly 10,000 Victorians had also declined to be tested so far, with Ms Mikakos revealing some people thought the coronavirus was a conspiracy.
