A boy who allegedly came to the aid of a 17-year-old that was fatally stabbed during a brawl at Sydney's Royal Easter Show pleads guilty to two offences.

A boy who allegedly came to the aid of a 17-year-old that was fatally stabbed during a brawl at Sydney's Royal Easter Show has pleaded guilty to two offences.

The 15-year-old, who was arrested at the scene in April, was charged with affray, carrying a knife in a public place and being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.The boy's case was heard briefly at Parramatta Children's Court today, where he was excused from attending and his strict bail conditions were extended.Police told the court the teen produced a 10cm folding knife as he came to the aid of the 17-year-old, who was being attacked.

NSW Police have yet to identify the killer despite trawling through hours of CCTV and mobile footage of the incident.
